Sony Will Offer Digital Video And Music Service Next Year

According to engadget we could see a music and video service brought to us by Sony as soon as next year. The technology website reports on Apple and Amazon working on subscription based video networks with Sony planning to do the same. If engadget is correct then we will first see this service offered on the PlayStation 3 and PSP which would then later branch out to internet-connected Sony TVs and Blu-Ray players. Sony is expected to make this announcement sometime today from IFA 2010 in Germany.
