Scariest Video Games – The 7th Guest

The 7^th Guest was created by Trilobyte and released by Virgin Games in 1993. The 7^th Guest is a full motive video based puzzle game and if you dare play it alone in the dark it will likely give you quite the scare.

The games story revolves around Henry Stauf who was a drifter and thief that became very rich when he started a toy empire after creating a doll he dreamt about. Henry built himself a mansion and was not heard from for quite some time until the finally sent out 6 invitations, inviting 6 individuals to stay overnight in his mansion. You get to fill the shoes of Ego, who is inside the mansion quite some time after the party, where you find out how all of the guests ended up dying.

I won’t give out any more of the games story as it would likely spoil the game for you if you haven’t played it yet. The games real time video and ghostly effects are enough to send chills down your spine. Then when you add some creepy music playing in the background and you won’t want to sit alone in the dark ever again.
